“Darth Vader and Son” (by Jeffrey Brown) is a brilliant slice of life tale of a single father trying to raise his son the best way he knows how. In this case the single father happens to be the galaxies most notorious and feared Sith Master, Darth Vader!

Lando has the most to lose. He actually scarifies the greater good of the millions of people in Cloud City to try to save Han. Arguably the greatest show of friendship in the trilogy.

Who Drew That?: Drew Struzan
You basically could not have lived over the past 3 decades and not seen the work of Drew Struzan. If you know anything about movies then I would also find it hard to believe that you haven’t seen the work of Struzan. Struzans work is beloved by movie fans and art fans alike and for good reason, cause its freakin dope!
Few artists are as prolific and loved as Struzan and yet remain so anonymous so lets get a look at his work and then see the man behind the curtain.

So whats this guys mug look like? We know he can draw the hell out of a movie poster but is he a looker?
Hit the break to see the man behind the poster.

Welcome to the first installment of The B,WN?P Interview Series!
In the coming months and beyond I am going to be sitting down and talking with a host of different personalities from every walk of life. I’m going to try and find out what makes these people tick and what drives them to do the things they’ve done in their lives.
Designers, game developers, movers and shakers, all with a drive that has taken them to places most people never consider. These people are living and working toward their dreams and doing things that really set them apart. From the unique to the absurd, from the amazing to the ridiculous, you have no idea what you’re getting into here, but I think you’ll enjoy the personalities that we will come to know a little bit better along the way.
Sit back and enjoy the ride as The B,WN?P Interview Series begins with our first guest, Ken Steadman, from “30 Days Of Empire”.
What started out as an experiment in fandom has taken a turn into what some might call obsession.
Ken Steadman had originally set out to watch STAR WARS:The Empire Strikes Back for 30 straight days and see if he could induce or destroy fandom within himself. At the time of this interview, the initial 30 days experiment has come and gone, giving way to nearly 80 straight days of watching the same movie!
Ken was nice enough to sit down with me (Scott Hall:Because, Why Not? Podcast) and talk about the experiment and what hes learned and how its changed him over the course of nearly 3 months.
We talk about the movie, the characters places in the STAR WARS universe and how his ideas about STAR WARS as a whole have changed or evolved since the beginning of the project and where he sees it going forward.
Has he made it past 30 days without destroying himself?
Has he become SW:TESB’s biggest fan or biggest critic?
Will he lose his mind in the process and eventually end up on some DC street corner babbling about the force and how much he hates C3PO while pretending to “Force Choke” anyone in a grey shirt?Sit down and have a listen and find out what kind of maniac watches STAR WARS:The Empire Strikes Back for 30 straight days (and then some) on purpose and lives to tell the tale!

Chewbacca’s handcuffs didn’t need a key to unlock them, Lando just opens them. Come on dammit, try a little bit harder Empire; no wonder you keep being beaten by magic teenager, a pirate, a sasquatch and two walking kitchen appliances.
When Vader says to Piett “Asteroids do not concern me…” it made me think, last night, what about other things do not concern Vader: child support, hand lotion, pedicures, ventilation shafts. Things that do concern Vader: leather cleaner, cape dry cleaning coupons, 3000 mile robotic leg tune ups, Emperor’s day gift baskets.
