I remember buying these at Kay-Bee Toys 3/$10 cause nobody knew who Deadpool was or gave a shit. I’d like to thank ebay for helping me sell these guys once people finally figured it out and couldn’t wait to snatch them up. Man I loved the Toy Biz X-MEN line but boy was it for the most part terrible!
I have often thought of doing something like this, its nice to see someone came up with a catchy and clever way of making it happen. Toy geeks unite!

I never had any of these action figure but a a friend of mine had the one that came in the egg and I wanted it super bad! I did however have Mork suspenders that came with buttons on them. I freaking loved that show.
So this is what I’m doing today.
Yeah I know it just looks like a bunch of junk, but if all goes well that junk will soon be a two part mold to create custom action figures that I made. I am finally putting all the casting stuff I got to use and I’m trying to create a two part mold to cast the larger female Justice League Unlimited body that I made a while back.
If all goes well, in about 7 hours I’ll be able to lift the figure base out of the mold. After that I will reinsert the figure, spray some release agent and pour the other half of the mold and wait another 7 hours and hopefully have a fully functional two part mold for pouring resin into and making custom action figures!
I’m stoked and nervous as fuck :D

Once upon a time (late 1990’s) TOY BIZ planned on doing a series of small figures based off JJ Kirby’s artwork from his X-BABIES books for MARVEL comics. This was going on around the time that TOY BIZ was going bankrupt and would eventually be turned into MARVEL TOYS by Avi Arid.
These are pictures of the prototypes based on Kirby’s work that never got made which made me incredibly sad cause Kirby is a favorite and I love toys and toys based off his work would have been fucking amazing! These would have been amazing and I wanted them super bad from the moment I saw them in the now defunct TOYFARE magazine.
Hey Agent M, any chance of getting Kirby to do another series of X-BABIES books then making toys based off them? Wink wink, nudge nudge, know what I mean? :D

I wrote earlier today about how toy collecting had some real world and seriously bad affects on my life.
Being the introspective sort that I tend to be, I started thinking about what it means in my life now as a recovering addict of sorts and where it will go in the future as I deal with past mistakes and future opportunities.

Today is a wonderful day for a lot of reasons not the least of which is that ToysRus is now carrying the greatest toy line ever again!
JUSTICE LEAGUE UNLIMITED has finally returned to another retail outlet other then fucking TARGET and this make collecting the line so much easier potentially that I cant stop smiling.
I pretty much only collect JLU and LEGO anymore so this is great news for me!
HALO REACH has absolutely consumed me as of late and I haven’t posted anything in weeks at this point.
I think maybe tomorrow I might do some rad posts that is if I don’t get caught up in Forge again making some sweet ass maps. Hell maybe I’ll make a lame video of some of the maps I’ve been working on or something?

Every now and then I will check out ToysRus.com and see what they got going in their clearance section. Just stopped by there and had a look and I gotta tell ya there are some freakin crazy ass deals goin on right now. I’m gonna link dump the fuck outta this page in a second and show you just a taste of what they go for super cheap over there.
If you’re into doing customs they got tons of stuff to cut up and salvage into new things, if you’re a collector they have some pretty sweet deals as well on game characters and some other really sweet stuff.
