I got a nifty little surprise today via my deviantart page that I wanted to share with everybody.
Jesse Hughes was apparently inspired by The Healing Heroes Project and the drawings of one of the kids involved. Jesse took one of the designs of the children in the project and reinterpreted and cleaned it up a bit. The final result is pretty damn cool if you ask me and gave me a nice boost to start the afternoon off with.
Thanks to Jesse for sharing their work and being part of The Healing Heroes Project.

So this is what I’m doing today.
Yeah I know it just looks like a bunch of junk, but if all goes well that junk will soon be a two part mold to create custom action figures that I made. I am finally putting all the casting stuff I got to use and I’m trying to create a two part mold to cast the larger female Justice League Unlimited body that I made a while back.
If all goes well, in about 7 hours I’ll be able to lift the figure base out of the mold. After that I will reinsert the figure, spray some release agent and pour the other half of the mold and wait another 7 hours and hopefully have a fully functional two part mold for pouring resin into and making custom action figures!
I’m stoked and nervous as fuck :D

I Regret To Inform You…
…that DEADPOOL PULP has already sold!
In a move that has caught me completely off guard, my flagship auction has found a buyer with its Buy It Now option less than 3 hours after going live!
There are still lots of great customs for sale so check em out!
So I started up another blog called PLASTIC SURGEONS where I’m taking user submissions of customs toys and just posted this little gem. Seriously creative custom job of some of my favorite childhood cereal heroes!
