Jae Lee helps us bring to light one of the greatest questions in all of STAR WARS geekdom, who wins in a fight between Darth Vader and Darth Maul? One of my favorite parts of WIZARD was “Last Man Standing” because as a comics geek they tackled the big questions that I as a geek wanted answered. Man this is a tough one isn’t it? On one hand you have Maul who is an acrobat with unlimited hand to hand fighting skill and on the other you have Vader who doesn’t need to get anywhere near his opponent to fuck him up. But lets be honest with ourselves here for a minute, Maul is nothing more then a lap dog for the Emperor and Vader is an attack dog, a diplomat and a General with the skills knowledge and ability to kill or do anything he wants. Maul is little more than kibbles and bit once Vader is done with him. I mean hell, a young inexperienced not nearly as powerful Jedi named Obi-wan took out Maul so Vader being that galaxies greatest bad ass will make short work of Maul and not even bat an eyelid in the process, but thats mostly cause they got burned off so yeah… theres that.
