POLARIS is joining X-Factor! Alongside HAVOK! And they’re rejoining STRONG GUY, MULTIPLE MAN and WOLFSBANE! THIS. IS. CLASSIC. ALL CAPS BECAUSE THIS IS CAPS-WORTHY.
X-FACTOR

These are also my feeling on this. Add Quicksilver to this team and I would just die.

Everything old is new again! This is pretty solid not to mention Nick Bradshaws covers are badass times ten!

In 1998 MARVEL took a chance and gave perennial underachiever HAVOK (Cyclops younger brother) a chance to fill the mantle of leadership in the somewhat short lived title MUTANT X. I know a lot of people who were insanely excited about this cause HAVOK had always been a second stringer with so much potential that never really got used for anything cause the X-ranks were so crowded. When HAVOK got a chance to shine many fans got a real treat as Howard Mackie, Tom Raney and Andrew Pepoy put together a really solid book.
Together they crafted some fantastic character designs and a back story that really laid out some interesting possibilities which sadly were never realized as the series only lasted to issue 32 before being cancelled. At 32 issues the series wasn’t a complete failure obviously but there was certainly more life in the concept.
Raney, Mackie and Pepoy did a wonderful job on the series and if you haven’t heard of this series you should definitely give it a look. Some fantastic art and character designs and a solid story make MUTANT X a good investment of time for a comics lover.
