Comics are a neat thing, sometimes you get more out of them than you expected and DEADPOOL: FLASHBACK #1 (1997) is no exception. This is such a great issue and has one of those pulling on heart strings endings that really gets ya. Even though you never see Deadpool in this book for one panel, its a great story with solid art that does well to build Deadpool up as a character that isn’t just a slapstick lunatic killer, but someone that has lots more to offer if you just give him some time to show his true colors.
