Ben Caldwell is magic.
I absolutely adore Ben Caldwell’s work and think his rendition of Wonder Woman is among the best of all time. His line work is just amazing in no uncertain terms.

I triple dog dare you to tell me Mary Elisabeth Winstead wouldn’t be the best choice for Wonder Woman!
It never struck me til just a minute ago when I saw her in this picture where she is wearing a dress with striking similarities to Princess Diana’s super heroine getup!
I wonder if this was intentional on the part of the dress designer or just some wonderful coincidence?
While released digitally on various platforms last week, JUSTICE LEAGUE: DOOM was released today on physical media, and I gotta say its freakin awesome!
Written by the late great Dwayne McDuffie, JUSTICE LEAGUE:DOOM could be in my estimation his best scripting for an animated film. McDuffie writes a script that is sharp as a tack and at times laugh out loud funny! Batman really steals the show right out of the gate but everyone has their moments. Sadly McDuffie did not get to see his work fully realized, but I am glad that he is going out on a high note even though I would rather have him writing animated adventures for years to come.
Andrea Romano finally figured out with JL:D that “if it ain’t broke…” and brings back almost all the original cast of The Justice League Unlimited animated series (sans Phil Lamarr as Green Lantern). With the voice talents of Kevin Conroy (BATMAN), Tim Daly (Superman), Micheal Rosenbaum (The Flash), Susan Eisenberg (Wonder Woman), Carl Lumbly (Martian Manhunter) and adding just the right bit of spice with Nathan Fillion as Hal Jordan, absolutely ties this voice cast together like few other animated adventures have! Everyone is pitch perfect and play their roles perfectly throughout the film. Hell, the only thing that could have made the voice casting better would have been Mark Hamill reprising his role as the Joker for a gag or two!
Visually this is everything you’ve come to expect from DC’s animation department. The look is clean and crisp and everything just feels right. There are no “52” reboots here and everything looks and feels the way it should, not like some 90’s retro rehash nonsense. We also get to see a new face in the JL animated universe as Cyborg joins in on the fun and plays a pretty significant role in the story. The character design across the board is rock solid with the only exception being possibly Metalo, who looks a bit silly honestly, but otherwise the character design is top notch!
JUSTICE LEAGUE:DOOM is a knock-out, plain and simple. It looks good, the story is excellent and the voice cast are spot on perfect! This movie (in my mind at least) totally makes up for the missteps that were ALL-STAR SUPERMAN and BATMAN:UNDER THE RED HOOD.
I give JUSTICE LEAGUE:DOOM 4/5 Justice League Unlimiteds!
